Comic Blitz
Comic Blitz is a platform to read unlimited comic books from indie and mainstream publishers. The company was acquired by Cinedigm in 2019.
To help Comic Blitz build a brand identity and increase engagement online, I designed social media graphics and website banners from June 2017 to January 2018.
“Deadpooling”
When I first joined the team, I worked on exploring a concept the team named “deadpooling.” Named after the DC comic/movie Deadpool, the series would feature characters jumping out of their comics and breaking the “fourth wall.”
As new comics were added to the platform weekly, I worked with a product manager to prioritize what comics we would feature. With access to all the comics, I picked comic book covers and panels that were visually striking and looked for quotes that represented the comics before creating the composites.
