GNC Slimvance
As part of the campaign for GNC’s newest product Slimvance, I created two email newsletters and a digital infographic that was displayed on tablets in GNC stores across North America in 2018.
Working with a senior designer and copywriter, I was contracted by The DuMont Project from November to December 2017.
Key Ingredients Infographic
I was asked to create an infographic to highlight the product’s key ingredients and their health benefits. Referring to the client’s style guide, I kept a minimal approach to keep the focus on the ingredients and make it easy to skim.
To create the composite, I sourced relevant stock photography, isolated the ingredients, and adjusted settings like brightness and shadows to make the elements look like they came from the same photoshoot.
While working with the copywriter, I suggested that we parr down the copy so that it would better fit the infographic style.
Check-In Email Newsletters
I designed two email newsletters that would get sent to customers two and four weeks after purchasing Slimvance. Similarly to the infographic progress, I looked at past GNC newsletters and its style guide to design in its aesthetic.
Since we had more copy than typical newsletters do, I designed the newsletter with smaller pieces of content by using blocks of color to create sections divided by topic.
